Interior Ministry of the interim government of the Taliban reacted to US weapons and equipment to Pakistan and said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is serious about the trafficking of weapons.
The ministry said that they will not allow anyone to sell a single item of weapon.
Earlier, the Pakistan Dawn newspaper had reported that Pakistan wants to buy US weapons left in Afghanistan in order to cut terror groups’ access to the weapons.
Spokesperson of the ministry Saeed Khostai in a series of Tweets said that they are busy building a potent army and that they will need more weapons.
Security Forces of the previous Afghanistan government have left behind a large amount of US-made weapons and military equipment that is now being used by the Taliban affiliates.
