Taliban app removed from Google storeThe Taliban militants have brutally murdered two public uprising forces in northern Baghlan province of Afghanistan by gouging their eyes and slitting their nose and ears.

The incident took place late on Monday night in the restive Burka district where the anti-government armed militants are actively operating.

A member of the public uprising forces said the Taliban militants are preventing the local residents to remove the dead bodies of the two deceased men.

The Taliban militants group has not commented regarding the report so far.

Incident involving mutilation of security personnel, government employees and civilians accused of working for the government is not rare in Afghanistan.

The Taliban militants frequently target the security personnel and government employees as well as the ordinary civilians by accusing them of working for the government.

Such incidents normally take place on highways where the Taliban insurgents are kidnapping the victims and murder them in horrific way.

Baghlan is among the relatively volatile provinces in northern Afghanistan where anti-government armed militant groups are actively operating in a number of its districts and frequently carry out insurgency activities.
