Taliban beheaded security personnel in ParwanAccording to local authorities in northern Parwan province of Afghanistan, Taliban militants have beheaded two Afghan security forces along with their two family members in this province.

Provincial governor Basir Salangi confriming the report said, “Taliban militants beheaded an Afghan intelligence officer along with a member of his family, and an Afghan police officer together with his brother.”

Mr. Salangi further added that Taliban militants had abducted the four individuals and had taken them to an unknown location before they were beheaded.

He said Taliban militants had reportedly taken the individuals to Ghorband area, which is among the volatile region in northern Parwan province of Afghanistan.

Hundreds of local residents protested against the militants following the assassination of two Afghan security forces along with their family members.

The protesters also accused the government of Afghanistan for being failed to provide security for the service members of Afghanistan.

They also warned the Afghan government for a wider protest if the government did not take immediate actions against the militants in this province.
