The Afghan forces repelled the Taliban attacks in South-eastern Ghazni province and killed 6 militants during the clashes, the Afghan military said.

The 203rd Thunder Corps in a statement said the Taliban militants launched attacks in the outskirts of the provincial capital of Ghazni and in Moqor districts.

The statement further added that the security forces effectively responded to the attacks, killing at least 6 militants.

The security forces also wounded 8 other militants during the clashes, the 203rd Thunder Corps added in its statement.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the clashes so far.
