According to reports a suicide bomber was shot dead by Afghan security forces in capital Kabul early Monday morning.
Security officials said the suicide bomber was killed in Sedarat Square, which is close to Afghanistan intelligence — National Directorate of Security (NDS) compound.
The incident took place around 7am local time, and the suicide bomber was reportedly looking to enter the intelligence compound.
The National Directorate of Security (NDS) following a statement confirmed that a suicide bomber in Afghan security forces uniform was looking to enter the intelligence compound, and was shot dead by Afghan security forces.
At least 35 people were killed or injured following militants attack on Afghanistan intelligence compound early this year.
