Afghan policeA heavy explosion rocked eastern Ghazni province of Afghanistan late Wednesday evening.

According to local authorities the incident took place after a suicide bomber detonated his explosives in Moqor district.

Deputy provincial governor Mohammad Ali Ahmadi confirming the report said at least seven people were killed and 13 others were injured following the attack.

Mr. Ahmadi further added Afghan civilians and anti-Taliban uprising forces were among those killed or injured during the explosion.

No group has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.

This comes as another explosion rocked eastern Ghazni city today, killing or injuring at least 6 people.
