The Afghan Special Forces stormed two major ISIS cells in Kabul city triggering heavy clashes in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

The informed security sources said the Special Forces stormed the ISIS cells in East of Kabul city.

The sources further added that the Special Forces launched an operation in Bagrami district after receiving information regarding one of the cells where at least 9 ISIS militants had hidden.

Furthermore, the officials said the Special Forces targeted the other cell of the terror group in Qasaba area of the city.

The residents of the area said the sounds of heavy explosions could be heard from the sites of the operations until 4 am local time.

Meanwhile, the officials are saying that the Special Forces foiled massive attacks by storming the ISIS cells in the city.
