The Afghan Special Forces stormed an important Taliban compound in Ghazni province.
The Special Operations Corps in a statement said the Special Forces stormed the Taliban compound in Andar district of Ghazni.
The statement further added that the Special Forces discovered and destroyed a large cache of weapons and munitions.
Furthermore, the Special Forces destroyed an 82mm mortar, 2000 rounds of ammunition, 100 kgs of explosives, 25 remote controls, 30 mine fuses and 15 pressure plates.
The Special Operations Corps also added that Special Forces also destroyed some other IED making equipment.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the operation so far.
