The Special Forces killed 7 Taliban militants and detained 2 others in Paktiay, Farah and Herat.
The military officials said Friday that the Special Forces killed 4 Taliban militants during an operation in Zadran district of Paktiya.
The officials further added that the Special Forces killed 3 Taliban militants during a separate operation in Shindand district of Herat.
Furthermore, the Special Forces detained 2 Taliban fighters during an operation in Khak-e Safid district of Farah.
Meanwhile, the Special Forces destroyed 10kg of homemade explosives and several IED-making components during an operation in Shah Wali Kot district of Kandahar.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operations so far.
