Special Forces kill 40 Taliban militants, arrest 13 others in Parwan province

The Afghan Special Forces killed 40 Taliban militants during an operation in Parwan province.

The informed military sources said Monday that the Special Forces killed the militants in Ghorband district.

The sources further added that the Special Forces also arrested 13 Taliban militants during the same raid.

Furthermore, the military sources said the Special Forces destroyed a small cache of weapons as well.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operation so far.
