Special Forces kill 13 militants, detain 9 more in Wardak operations

The Afghan Special Forces killed 13 militants during separate operations in central Maidan Wardak province.

The military officials said Sunday that the Special Forces also arrested 9 more militants during the same operations.

The officials further added that the Special Forces killed 10 of the militants in Wardak district.

Furthermore, the Special Forces also arrested four Taliban militants during the same operation.

Meanwhile, the Special Forces arrested 4 more militants during a separate operation in Chak-e Wardak district of Wardak.

In the meantime, the military officials said the Special Forces killed 3 Taliban militants during a separate operation in Chak-e Wradak.

The Special Forces also arrested another Taliban fighter and destroyed a weapons cache in Sayyidabad district of Wardak, the officials added.
