The Afghan Special Forces inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during an operation in Sarobi district of Kabul.
The Ministry of Interior in a statement said the Special Forces of the Afghan National Police killed 20 Taliban militants during the operation.
The statement further added that the Special Forces also wounded 5 Taliban militants during the same operation.
Furthermore, the interior ministry said the Special Forces conducted the operation to clear the restive areas of Sarobi of Taliban militants’ presence.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operation so far.
