
The Afghan Special Forces inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during the operations in Ghor, Wardak and Paktiya provinces.
The military officials said Friday that the Afghan Special Forces killed 10 Taliban militants during an operation in Shakrak district of Ghor province.
The officials further added that the Special Forces also destroyed a small cache of weapons during the same operation.
Furthermore, the Special Forces killed 2 Taliban militants and detained 5 others in Sayyidabad distrit of Wardak province.
The officials also added that the Special Forces killed 2 Taliban militants and destroyed a weapons cache and 3 roadisde bombs in Zurmat district of Paktiya province.
Meanwhile, the officials said the Special forces conducted a raid on a large methamphetamine drug facility in Bakwah district of Farah province.
According to military officials, the Special Forces destroyed 3,600 lbs Processed Oman, 8,400 lbs Lye, 1,131 gallons Hydrochloric Acid, 400 gallons Acetone, 10 kg Heroine and 132 kg Crystal Meth during the raid.
