The Special Forces of the Afghan Military inflicted heavy casualties on Taliban militants during a raid in Farah province.
The 207th Zafar Corps in a statement said the Special Forces targeted a group of Taliban militants in Shiwan area of Bala Bolok district.
The statement further added that the Special Forces killed 6 Taliban militants during the operation.
The Special Forces also wounded 9 Taliban militants during the same operation, the 207th Zafar Corps added in its statement.
The Taliban militants have not commented regarding the operation so far.
