The Afghan Special Forces fully cleared the Baharak district of Takhar province from Taliban militants presence.
The Special Operations Corps in a statement said the Special Forces killed at least 27 Taliban militants during the operation.
Furthermore, the Special Forces conducted search operation in all villages of Baharak to ensure no militant is left in the area.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operation so far.
