American media reported the detention of six Tajikistani citizens on charges of belonging to the Khorasan branch of ISIS in three US cities.

According to The New York Post on Tuesday, June 11, citing two informed sources, these individuals were arrested in the cities of New York, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.

The report indicates that, based on the examination of conversations, these individuals were discussing a bomb.

Additionally, sources from the US Immigration Department confirmed to the newspaper that Russian citizens are also among those detained and arrested after last week’s FBI warning.

Earlier, the FBI director had warned of ISIS terrorist attacks in America inspired by the attack on a concert in Moscow.

Concerns of American and European countries have heightened over possible ISIS attacks since the group claimed responsibility for an attack on a concert in Russia.

Reports suggest that in this attack, more than 115 people were killed, and over 145 others were injured.

Recent developments indicate an increased level of ISIS activities not only in Afghanistan but also in the region, with the group attempting to carry out attacks and recruit members in various countries, posing a significant threat to global security.
