The Simorgh Alborz football team defeated Oqaban Hindokush 3-1 during a decisive match of the Afghanistan football premier league on Sunday.

The first half of the game ended in Oqaban Hindokush’s favor with Omid Azimi hitting the first goal during the 38th minute of the game.

However, Wais Ahmad Ahmadi of Simorgh Alborz leveled the game by hitting a goal for his team during the 51st minute of the game.

Mohammad Hussain Mohammad scored the second goal for Simorgh Alborz six minutes after the first goal was hit while Nematullah Karimi scored the goal during the 81st minute of the game.

The match ended 3-1 in favor of Simorgh Alborz after the Oqaban Hindukosh could not score further goals during the second half of the match.

Mustafa Rezaye of Simorgh Alborz was awarded the player of the match award for his good performance.

This comes as the seventh game of the Afghan Premier League between De Spinghar Bazan adn Mawjhai Amu ended 1-1 in draw on Saturday.
