The finals of Afghanistan’s Premier League took place on Friday and concluded with the victory of Shaheen Asmayee football club which represents capital Kabul and central provinces of the country.
Shaheen Asmayee won the second season of the Afghan Premier League by defeating Simugh Alburz 3-1. The goals were hit by Hashmatullah Barekzai ad Mahmood Azad during the 52, 93 and 104 minute of the match.
Simurgh Alburz which represents northern provinces of the country managed to hit it’s only goal during the 90 minute of the match, and the goal was hit by Omid Qatibzada.
The refree of the match called for extra time after the match was leveled 1-1 by the end of the second half, which gave an opportunity for Shaheen Asmayee to hit it’s second and third goal.
Simurgh Alburz secured the second position in Afghan Premier League by losing the finals to Shaheen Asmayee, while the former champion Toofan Harirdo secured the third position after losing the semi finals to Shaheen Asmayee.
Over 7000 football fans gathered in the stadium to watch the game which was organized in Afghanistan Football Federation Stadium.
