Severe storm in the US claims 21 lives

U.S. officials have announced that 21 people have died due to severe storms and tornadoes in four states over the past three days.

Reuters reported on Thursday, May 28, that these storms occurred in Arkansas, Texas, Kentucky, and Oklahoma.

According to reports, eight people in Arkansas, seven in Texas, four in Kentucky, and two in Oklahoma have been killed due to the severe storms and tornadoes.

Additionally, Texas officials have reported that 100 people were injured due to severe tornadoes in the northern part of the state.

Previously, four people had died due to severe storms and lightning in Texas.

Meanwhile, the U.S. National Weather Service had also warned of the possibility of severe lightning in the states of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.

It is worth mentioning that natural disasters caused by climate change, including floods, earthquakes, storms, and heatwaves, have led to the deaths of thousands of people in various parts of the world.
