Several Taliban militants killed in separate coalition airstrikes

Several Taliban militants have been killed in separate airstrikes conducted by the coalition forces in four different provinces of the country.

According to the informed military sources, the coalition forces conducted two airstrikes in Maidan Shahr district of Maidan Wardak province in the past 24 hours, leaving at least 9 Taliban militants dead.

The sources further added that a coalition air strike killed 5 Taliban fighters in Maiwand district of Kandahar province.

The coalition forces also conducted an airstrikes in Tarin Kot city of Uruzgan province in the south, leaving 2 Taliban fighters dead, the sources said.

Similarly, 4 Taliban fighters were killed in a similar aistrikes in Nahr-e-Saraj district of southern Helmand province.
