As the increase of COVID-19 cases spread concerns in Afghanistan, the government has decided to send senior age government officials and employees home.

The government of Afghanistan issued a statement last night giving a 14-day holiday for those who are said to be vulnerable against COVID-19 among the government employees including senior age staff, those having known diseases.

According to the statement those who are above age 55, must not come to office and work from home.

This comes the the number of new Coronavirus cases in Afghanistan have recently creased to a higher extend comparing to last year.
