On Monday, the Afghan national cricket team emerged victorious in the third and final T20I series against the Irish national cricket team in Sharjah.

The Afghan national cricket team faced Ireland on Monday night, March 18th, in their third match of the T20I competitions, which commenced at 8:30 PM. They managed to secure victory with a margin of 57 runs.

It’s worth mentioning that Afghanistan set a target of 156 runs for Ireland despite losing seven players during the match.

These competitions took place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and ultimately, the Afghan cricket team clinched the championship trophy of the T20I matches.

Rashid Khan won the toss against Ireland for the third time. Like in Monday’s 10-run win, he chose to bat first.

Playing at number three, 22-year-old Zadran scored his highest ever in T20I, making 72 runs. This helped Afghanistan reach a total that Ireland couldn’t match.

Opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz had a tough series, scoring zero and three in the first two matches. His series ended on a low note when Harry Tector caught him for six in the third over.

Afghanistan did well with Zadran and Sediqullah Atal batting until Atal got out, chipping a turning ball straight back to Gareth Delany.

Meanwhile, the Afghan national cricket team have shown remarkable performances, displaying their talent and skill numerous times.

These matches illustrate the journey and progress of the Afghan national cricket team in the international arena.
