The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has strongly reacted at the coordinated attacks in capital Kabul claimed by the Taliban and ISIS terrorist groups.

An official source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the attacks that targeted Kabul, capital of Afghanistan, and a blast that hit Wanlaweyn Town in Southern Somalia, according to Saudi Press Agency.

The source further adds that the ministry of foreign affair of Saudi reiterated the Kingdom’s solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and the Republic of Somalia alternatively against extremism and terrorism.

The Kingdom offered condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and the two governments and peoples, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

A group of at least seven militants launched coordinated attacks in the Police Districts 10th and 13th of Kabul city on Wednesday morning.

The ISIS claimed responsibility behind the attack in the 13th police district which according to the security officials was carried out by two militants and claimed the lives of two police officers while two others were wounded.

However, the Taliban claimed the attack on police district 10 which was carried out by five attackers and left a number of policemen and civilians dead or wounded.

According t the ministry of public health, at least seven people lost their lives in the attack and several others were wounded in the two attacks.
