It looks like Samsung’s next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, will borrow more from the Galaxy Note’s DNA than ever before.

In fact, a recently leaked official render posted by Evan Blass confirms that the phone is pretty much a Note in every way except for its name.

An alleged marketing poster showing the Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra, two of the three smartphones that Samsung is expected to announce under the Galaxy S22 series in February 2022.

Nonetheless, Evan Blass has leaked several official marketing images of the Galaxy S22 Ultra from three sides. As expected, the Galaxy S22 Ultra resembles the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra more than the company’s current Ultra smartphone.

It looks like a Note 10 Plus or Note 20 Ultra with a revamped camera system, but maybe that’s exactly what some Samsung fans want. Recently, real-world shots of the S22 Ultra have also been leaked and once again it looks pretty good in black.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will rely on an improved ISOCELL HM2 sensor as its primary camera, plus a 12 MP sensor for an ultra-wide-angle camera. Presumably, the periscope camera is one of the two new Sony sensors mentioned last month by @UniverseIce. The 10x zoom camera should be joined by another new Sony camera sensor that offers 3x zoom.
