The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it carried out 11 precise “surgical strikes” in the past week, targeting Ukraine’s port infrastructure, personnel sites, and Ukrainian unmanned motorboat production and storage facilities.
The Russian Armed Forces launched 11 significant attacks from September 9-16, 2023, targeting Ukrainian port infrastructure, unmanned boats, fuel, Western weaponry, and military stations using precision weapons and drones.
“Over the September 9-16, 2023 period, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have delivered 11 massive strikes with sea-and ground-based long-range high-precision weapons as well as with unmanned aerial vehicles on port infrastructure targets, the production and storage locations of unmanned motorboats, fuel products, ordnance, Western armaments and stations of Ukrainian military personnel,” The Russian ministry stated this, as reported by the state news agency TASS.
The strikes disrupted Ukrainian troop supplies in Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia and eliminated a significant portion of their armaments.
Ukraine’s General Staff of the Armed Forces reported over 30 combat clashes in the past 24 hours.
According to state news agency Ukrinform, these clashes involved eight missile attacks, 57 air strikes, and over 30 attacks with multiple rocket launchers on Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas.
As a result of Russian strikes, numerous civilian casualties occurred, with more than 15 households damaged or destroyed, along with a local lyceum and other civil infrastructure objects. Additionally, Ukraine’s General Staff reported that around 100 regional settlements came under Russian artillery fire.
