A total of 20 countries from the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America have already placed their purchase orders to receive the COVID-19 vaccines from Russia.

At a conference dedicated to Coronavirus’s registration, the CEO of direct Russian investment fund said that they already have received purchase orders from different parts of the world.

“The vaccine can be reached to 500 million doses per year with the collaboration of foreign partners”, Dmitriev, the RDIF chief said.

According to DIF, they are working on a global humanitarian and aid programs with an aim to make the SPUTNIK V vaccine available to the developing countries which can’t make or afford it.

The World Health Organization is conducting a collaborating review with the Russian health officials based on the vaccine discovered by the Russians- Tarik Jasarevic, a spokesperson to WHO told to media.

This comes as the world is heavily suffering due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
