Russia’s foreign ministry has called on resistance front-co-led by Ahmad Masoud and Amrullah Saleh- to solve their conflicts through dialogue and do not provoke internal conflicts in Afghanistan.

Spokesperson of Russian foreign ministry Maria Zakharova on Wednesday, November 3 said that all political and ethnic groups should refrain from provoking further internal conflicts in Afghanistan.

Maria Zakharova said that they should look for ways to facilitate mutual understanding and national reconciliation to restore peace and stability in the country.

The foreign ministry’s spokeswoman has apparently expressed concern over instability in Afghanistan not to spread to the region.

The call on the resistance front comes days after its leader Ahmad Masoud was seen in Tajikistan who was purportedly there to seek help and raise money for the anti-Taliban front.

In the meantime, it is rumored that two congressmen have opened an office for the front in the US.

The anti-Taliban resistance was formed in the north of Afghanistan mainly in Panjshir province after the Taliban took over Afghanistan and started war in the province.
