According to local authorities in western Ghor province of Afghanistan, a Taliban group member was publicly executed and was hanged by Taliban militants in this province over murder charges.
A local official speaking on the condition of anonymity said the incident took place few days back in Teyor district at Posht-e-Rod district.
The source further added a prominent Taliban leader Mullah Juma Khan was killed following an insider clashes between Taliban militants in Teyor district.
He said Taliban militants arrested one of their group members and was executed over murder charges of Mullah Juma Khan.
Provincial governor spokesman Abdul Hai Khatibi also confirmed the report and said the executed Taliban member was recognized as Faiz Ahmad.
He said Faiz Ahmad was shot dead and hanged by Taliban militants for opposing the group members.
Taliban militants group yet to comment regarding the report.
