President Karzai meets Afghan boy who made small robotic excavator

Zainullah Niazi, 6th grade student in Surkhabad high school in Logar province demonstrated the small robotic excavator to President Hamid Karzai.

The demonstration was made following a meeting held in Presidential Palace which was attended by tribal elders from Logar province.

President Hamid Karzai hailed the innovation of the teenager Afghan boy and urged the tribal elders to concentrate on education of their children.

Karzai insisted that education is the only option to rescue Afghanistan from the current situation.

He also called for vast participation of Afghans in the second round of election and said election is a key process for political development in Afghanistan.

President Karzai was also presented with an appreciate letter for his 13 years of service to Afghanistan.
