President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has said that the activities of the irresponsible armed individuals must end as he emphasized that the government is committed to curb the activities such groups.

Speaking during the introduction of senior presidential advisor Mohammad Dr. Rasool Talib, President Ghani said the irresponsible armed individuals must adopt a responsible approach or the government would act to restrict their activities.

He said the legitimacy of the system is dependent on legitimate control of power and the government has the right to have full control of the power.

In regards to the upcoming elections, President Ghani said the elections would be organized in the light of the constitution of the country.

President Ghani said election is the right of the nation and necessary measures must be taken to ensure that the justly presence of the people in the elections.

He said the policy of the government is focused on the development of the country as he ruled out emotional approach during the key decision makings.

President Ghani also promised to take necessary actions to end the culture of the monopoly of power and government posts.

He said Dr. Talib will also have membership of the development and social councils and expressed hopes that the ongoing efforts for peace process would yield results and ensure equality among all sects and tribes of the country.
