A senior Pakistan Taliban commander denied allegations by Pakistani government that safe havens have been provided by the Afghan government for Pakistan Taliban militants.
This comes as Pakistani officials criticized Afghan and NATO troops for being reckless to act against the militants sanctuaries in Afghanistan.
The comments were followed after seven Pakistani soldiers were beheaded by militants.
Mawlawi Faqir Mohammad who is believed to be behind attack on Pakistan military check post and beheaded Pakistan troops said the comments by Pakistani officials were ridiculous and baseless.
Former deputy Pakistani Taliban leader further added Afghanistan does not have the capabilities to provide sanctuaries for militants.
He also criticized Afghanistan and said if Pakistan provide safe havens for militants why such actions are not taken by Afghanistan as well.
In the meantime Afghan government officials denied allegations by Pakistani officials and said Pakistani nationals are involved in carrying out suicide attacks in Afghanistan and several Pakistani suspected militants have been detained in Afghanistan in connection to suicide bombing plots recently.
