Pakistani security forces killed two militants in separate operations in Waziristan, said the military on Sunday.

In separate operations in the North and South Waziristan district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the security force skilled two militants, according to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Sunday.

The first operation occurred in the general area of Razmak in the North Waziristan district, where the security forces killed one of the militants. The second operation occurred in South Waziristan’s general area Karama, killing one in the fire exchange.

However, Naik Fazal Janan, a 32-year-old resident of Hangu District, was killed during the fire exchange, and sanitization of the area was being carried out to eliminate any other militants found in the location, the statement said.

The incident occurred after the Pakistan government announced relaunching an an-all-out operation against the militant groups, including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and Baloch Liberation Army.

The press release reiterated on Friday that the Pakistani security forces are determined to wipe out all the terror groups from the country.

“Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve,” the statement said.

Recently, the terror outlets in Pakistan have intensified their attacks on several parts of the country, targeting police officials and ordinary people.
