According to local government officials, the rockets were fired from the other side of Durand Line during the past 24 hours.
Provincial police chief, Gen. Abdul Habib Syed Khel, said the rockets landed in Dangam district but the shelling did not incur any casualties to the local residents.
Shelling from the other side of Durand Line continues despite the National Security Council (NSC) instructed the security institutions to take necessary actions to repel the cross-border incursions by Pakistan.
A teenage boy was also killed following the cross-border shelling in Kunar province last week when 21 rockets were fired in Shegal, Dangam and Marwara districts.
According to reports, the Pakistani military has fired over 5,000 rockets in Kunar province during the past two years, which has resulted to loss of lives besides forcing thousands of people to flee from their homes.
