
Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul in a press release said that three-member medical experts mandated by the country’s Ministry of Health visited Afghanistan and assessed health services in three hospitals built by Pakistan.
The visit of the medical team aimed to examine health facilities provided in the hospitals, difficulties faced by the medical centers, and suggestions for the betterment of services in the future.
The Pakistani experts visited Nishtar Kidney hospital in eastern Jalalabad city, Muhammad Ali Jinnah hospital in the capital Kabul, and Aminullah Logari hospital in Logar province.
“The team has already concluded the visit and will now be submitting a detailed report to the health authorities for examination and decision on the way forward.” Reads the statement.
The Pakistan health experts have also met with the Minister and officials of the Ministry of Public health in Kabul to incorporate their input and needs.
