In a blast in Kabul, one person is killed and four others were wounded, security officials said.
Ferdaws Faramarz said the incident happened at around 02:40 pm on Sunday in Kabul-Jalalabad highway in PD19 of Kabul.
Faramarz did not provide further details into the incident but said an investigation is ongoing into the incident.
This comes as targeted killings, violence and various types of attacks have intensified in Kabul and across Afghanistan.
