International media have reported that North Korea has sent 10,000 containers of fresh military aid to Russia.

Global Eye News has reported that this North Korean military aid includes 5 million artillery shells.

This aid comes after Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, recently sent a message to Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, stating that North Korea is Russia’s “invincible wartime comrade.”

North Korean state media (KCNA) reported that this message was sent by the North Korean leader to Mr. Putin on the occasion of “Russia National Day.”

It is worth noting that Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, visited Russia in September last year and toured the country’s space launch center. During this visit, Russian President Vladimir Putin promised Kim Jong Un assistance in satellite construction.

Previously, North Korea had received around 9,000 containers, mostly food supplies, from Russia, which, according to South Korea’s Defense Minister, helps stabilize prices in North Korea.

The current conflict between Russia and Ukraine has further strained global geopolitical relations. The ongoing war has seen severe casualties and destruction, with both countries experiencing significant military and civilian losses.

The international community remains divided, with some countries supporting Ukraine through sanctions against Russia and others aligning with Russia’s stance.

The war has also led to severe economic ramifications, including disruptions in global energy supplies and food security concerns, as both Russia and Ukraine are major exporters of essential commodities. Diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict have so far been unsuccessful, leading to continued violence and instability in the region.
