A rocket landed in Kabul city late on Monday Tuesday night but the officials say the attack did not harm anyone.

Officials in the Ministry of Interior have confirmed that the rocket landed close to the Ministry of Defense but did not cause casualties.

Earlier, reports emerged that the rocket landed close to the Embassy of the United States in Kabul city.

No individual or group including Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.

But the Taliban group carried out a series of attacks in Kabul city during the recent weeks, a move which forced President Donald Trump to suspend peace talks last week.
