Iranian media, which had previously confirmed the death of Ibrahim Raisi, the President of this country, as a result of the plane crash, have announced that 8 other occupants of this plane have also been killed.

Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, reported today on Monday, citing the inspection team present at the scene, that all the occupants of the plane had been killed.

Ibrahim Raisi, the President of Iran, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Foreign Minister of Iran, Ayatollah Al-Hashem, the Friday Prayer Leader of Tabriz, Malek Rahmati, the Governor of East Azerbaijan, Sardar Seyyed Mehdi Mousavi, the head of Ibrahim Raisi’s protection unit, a member of the Ansar al-Mahdi Corps, the pilot and co-pilot, and a technical official were passengers on this flight.

It is worth mentioning that the helicopter carrying Seyed Ibrahim Raisi crashed yesterday after the inauguration of the “Qiz Qalasi Dam” on its way to the inauguration of the “Tabriz Refinery Quality Enhancement Project” in the forested area of Dezmar between the villages of Ouzi and Pir Davoud.

Following the news of the helicopter crash carrying Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, the head of the Islamic Republic’s government, many countries worldwide, especially Iran’s neighbours, have reacted and expressed their condolences to the death of the president and his companions.
