Sunday, October 09, 2011 – Eimal Faizi has been elected as the new spokesman by replacing former Afghan president spokesman, after he resigned from his position on 1 August 2011.

Eimal Faizi is not a well known personality in Afghan Medias and there has not reports regarding his previous professional experience.

According to a statement issued by Afghan presidential Media office, Eimal Faizi has completed his higher education studies in Journalism and Political science fields in France, and has good occupency in Pashtu, Dari, French, English and German languages.

The statement further added, Eimal Faizi has been elected as the new spokesman for Afghan president Hamid Karzai and Head of the presidential media office.

Presidential Media office performs under the direction of the presidential office under the Head of Karim Khuram, former Afghan Information and culture minister.

A number of significant changes have been noted in Afghan Presidential office after Karim Khuram, former Afghan Information and Culture minister left the Information and culture Ministry and joined Afghan presidential office.

The newly elected spokesman for president Hamid Karzai, Eimal Faizi resumed to his position as the new spokesman for president Hamid Karzai on Sunday 09 October 2011.

According to reports, alterations in Afghan presidential office due to the methods of complaince being implemented by Karim Khuram is one of the reasons which led to resignation of Wahid Omer, former spokesman for president Hamid Karzai.
