Head of the Taliban’s commission for guidance and encouragement, Mullah Amir Khan Motaqi said that their negotiations with the tribal elders and leaders failed and asked the People of Panjshir province to motivate their leaders.
Motaqi said that the Taliban talked with tribal leaders of Panjshir in Parwan province which went in vain and was inconclusive.
He said it is a great pride for the entire nation of Afghanistan that the occupation ended but the people in Panjshir are still opposing the Taliban.
Motaqi addressed the people of Panjshir telling them that do not allow those who are favoring war should be driven out of the province.
“This is the first time in the recent history of Afghanistan that a newly appointed government announces general amnesty and why should the people of Panjshir still be in trouble and they do not avail themselves of the freedom.” Said Motaqi.
It comes as the province witnessed conflict between the Taliban fighters and resistance forces which caused casualties too.
Panjshir in the northeast of Kabul is the only province that is yet to be controlled by the Taliban and the son of slain Ahamd Shah Masoud is leading resistance forces against the Taliban.
