The National Directorate of Security, the intelligence department of Afghanistan released the details of the operations against three major hideouts of ISIS terrorist group in Kabul city.

According to a statement released by NDS, the NDS Special Forces conducted the operations in close cooperation with the residents of the 8th and 15th districts and Bagrami district.

The statement further added that the ISIS terrorists were busy planning attacks and making suicide bombing vests and car bombs in the three locations.

Furthermore, the National Directorate of Security said the NDS Special Forces, the Afghan Police and Afghan army carefully conducted the operations which took more time as the hideouts were located in the residential areas.

The National Directorate of Security also added that the security forces killed two suicide bombers of the terror group and confiscated weapons and other kits used in suicide bombing vests and car bombs.

Meanwhile, the National Directorate of Security said three soldiers of NDS and Police Forces lost their lives during the operation but the security forces thwarted several attacks which the group would conduct in the city.
