kidnappers involved in killing of AbasinThe Afghan intelligence operatives have arrested a group of kidnappers involved in the brutal murder of a 14-year-old boy identified as Abasin.

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) said Abasin was kidnapped by the group around 5 months ago and later murdered him.

A statement by NDS said the group was arrested during an operation in Kabul city and the dead body of Abasin was recovered from a grave fin Chinar Keli area of Khak-e-Jabar district of Kabul.

The brutal murder of Abasin sparked anger among the Afghan people amid concerns that kidnap for ransom cases have increased during the recent months.

According to reports, the kidnappers had initially cut a finger of Abasin and demanded one hundred thousand US Dollars for his release.

Kidnap for ransom cases still continue in parts of the country despite the Afghan intelligence nabbed two MAFIA bosses involved in major kidnappings who were later executed by the government.

The two top MAFIA leaders, Habib Istalif and Raees Khudaidad, were executed late in 2014 and early in 2015 after they were arrested by intelligence operatives.
