According to local authorities in eastern Afghanistan, at least 3 Afghan civilians were injured following a NATO air raid at eastern Ghazni province.

District police chief for Deh-Yak in eastern Ghazni province Faiz Toofan said, at least 3 Afghan civilians including a 7 year old Afghan kid were injured after a missile struck in Alo-Khel village in this district last night.

The operation was conducted by NATO troops to hunt armed Taliban militants.

Mr. Toofan said, the health condition of the injured civilians are satisfactory.

This comes as a number of Afghan civilians were killed following an air raid by NATO in eastern Kapisa province last week.

Residents of eastern Kapisa and Kunar provinces following the death of Afghan civilians urged the Afghan government to prevent NATO air raid.
