Mullah arrested in western AfghanistanTwo militants from Nahzat-i-Islami Uzbekistan were arrested in capital Kabul during an operation by AFghan intelligence forces – National Directorate of Security (NDS).

According to a statement released by National Directorate of Security (NDs), the two suspected terrorits are residents of central Maidan Wardak and northern Parwan provinces of Afghanistan.

The statement further added that the suspected militants were recognized as Fahim Jan and Ibadullah, and the suspects were arrested from the fourth district of Kabul city.

The two militants have confessed that they were actively involved in anti-government activities in Wardoj district of northeastern Badakhshan province.

NDS in its statement said that the two militants received training for terrorist activities for almost 40 days in Miranshah and Mehr Ali areas in Waziristan tribal region.
