The Afghan spin sensation Rashid Khan and ex-skipper Mohammad Nabi contributed fairly in last night’s IPL match to secure a victory for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Mumbai Indians.

The two Afghan players managed to take three wickets on the bowling side to restrict the Mumbai Indians before they chase a relatively small target set by the Sunrisers.

Rashid Khan took two wickets from four overs and by giving 11 runs only while Nabi managed to take one wicket from three overs.

Mumbai Indians elected to field first after they won the toss and managed to restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to 118 runs from during the 18.4 over of the game.

However, they could not chase the given target and lost all their wickets by scoring 87 runs only from 18.5 overs.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan was awarded the player of the match for his outstanding bowling performance.

Rashid Khan has so far played in six matches during the ongoing IPL season for Sunrisers Hyderabad and has managed to take six wickets so far.

However, Nabi appeared for the first time in the ongoing IPL matches and besides his satisfactory bowling performance, he managed to hit two boundaries to secure 14 runs from 10 balls for the Sunrisers.
