The Moscow Format meeting will be held tomorrow, Saturday, June 8th, to prepare and consult about the third Doha meeting, which is scheduled to begin on June 30th in Qatar.

Pakistan, Russia, Iran, China, and the Taliban administration will participate in this meeting.

The third Doha meeting is set to begin on June 30th, initiated by the United Nations, and will last for three days.

The upcoming Doha talks will focus on finding a sustainable solution to Afghanistan’s dire situation and addressing the humanitarian crisis.

Key topics expected to be discussed include the formation of an inclusive government, human rights issues, and international recognition of the current Afghan administration.

The outcomes of the Tehran meeting will play a crucial role in shaping the agenda and expectations for the Doha talks, ensuring that all participating countries are aligned on their approach towards Afghanistan.

The second round of Doha talks, held earlier this year, saw significant international participation but notably did not include representatives from the Taliban.

The focus of these discussions was on addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and establishing a framework for peace and stability in the region.

Despite the absence of the Taliban, the participating countries emphasized the need for an inclusive political solution and urged the international community to continue providing humanitarian aid to the Afghan people.

The exclusion of the Taliban was a point of contention, highlighting the challenges in achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace agreement.
