Mohammad Asim has been appointed as new governor for Parwan province.
The organization Independent Directorate of Local Governance (IDLG) that assigns governors and sub-governors say that they recommended and President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani approved Mohammad Asim as governor for Parwan province.
Tawab Ghorzang spokesman for IDLG also confirmed this in a tweet. “#IDLG: Engineer Mohammad Asim has been appointed as a new Governor of Parwan Province. It is a crucial job; wish him all the best.” His tweet stated.
According to IDLG’s infomration Mohammad Asim has adequate experience in local governance.
IDLG trusts that the new governor will have programs for the economical growth, good governance and security of Parwan province.
