The death of 29 over the COVID-19 vaccine has raised questions among the people in Norway.

The 29 people who died of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine are aged 75 years, also the country registered the death of 6 other people who are aged lower than 80 years, India Times reported.

The Norwegian Medicines Agency confirmed that all the death are linked with the vaccine thus Pfizer/BioNTech was the only vaccine available in the country until Friday.

Correspondingly, Pfizer, and BioNTech are assessing the causalities, both firms stated.

Deaths recorded by the agency are “elderly people with serious basic disorders”, and ‘most people have experienced the expected side effects of the vaccine, such as nausea and vomiting, fever, local reactions at the injection sites, and worsening of their underlying condition’, the agency said.

“The Norwegian Medicine Agency has communicated, prior to the vaccination, that when vaccinating the oldest and sickest, it is expected that deaths will occur in a time-related context with vaccination. This does not mean that there is a causal between vaccination and death. We have also in connection with the reported deaths, conveyed that it is possible that common and known side effects of the vaccines may have been a contributing factor to a serious course or fatal outcomes,” the agency decreed.

“We are aware that deaths have also been reported in other countries, but do not have full details of this yet,” the agency announced.

Norway’s experience has shown that the COVID-19 vaccine may have risks for the old and terminally ill people.

Yet the most cautious statement from the European Health Authority would finalize the shots’ side effects.
