Key Taliban commanders among 31 killed in Faryab operations: 209th Shaheen Corps

The Afghan forces killed 31 Taliban militants including 8 key commanders of the group during the operations in Faryab province.

The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the security forces killed the militants in Nazirabad and Hazar Qala villages of Pashtun Kot district.

Furthermore, the security forces wounded 19 Taliban militants during the same operations.

The Air Forces also supported the ground troops during the operations and carried out multiple airstrikes targeting the Taliban fighting positions and their hideouts.

Meanwhile, the 209th Shaheen Corps said airstrikes also destroyed a weapons depot of the militants, 15 motorcycles and various heavy and small arms.

According to 209th Shaheen Corps, a soldier of the Afghan National Police also his life in the operation and 3 others sustained injuries.

  1. The Afghanistan special forces is Awesome, they need to keep it up and kill at least 500/2000 every 2/3 days or weeks and then see if the Taliban can handle that.. may God Bless the Afghanistan special Forces
