Monday, May 2 (Washington) After the announcement of Osama bin Ladin being killed by U.S. forces in neighbouring Pakistan, Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai said that the world should believe that his country was not the place of terrorism.
He further added that the international troops should come up to say that killing of the Afghans, women, children and elders was not a good idea in the last many years as it was happening on a daily basis if they are true allies of Afghans, President Karzai said in a statement in Radio Television of Afghanistan.
Pakistan was a safe palce for terror groups and this has been proved after bin Laden being killed by U.S. forces, said opposition leader Dr. Abdullah Abdullah.
He said that, it has now been proven that Al-Qaeda and terrorist organizations are not based in Afghanistan and Pakistan is a secure place for insurgent militants and Al-Qaeda members, and killing of Osama bin Laden is a pleasant news for Afghans.
